Courtney is a seasoned mortgage originator with a track record spanning over a decade. She embarked on her journey in retail lending back in 2010, perfecting her skills as a meticulous mortgage loan processor. By 2018, she brought her expertise to Coastal Lending Group, LLC, where she excelled as a licensed loan production partner because of her impressive processing and underwriting background.

In 2020, Courtney took a significant step in her career by opening another mortgage brokerage with her long-time friend and business mentor, Jeremy Kahalas, assuming the role of Senior Vice President of Loan Operations, overseeing day-to-day operations and managing over 20 employees. Their brokerage grew to the number one mortgage broker in the state of Maryland. In 2022, Courtney, Jeremy, and their team joined forces again with Coastal Lending Group, LLC. 

With a total of five years dedicated to mortgage loan operations and seven years as a mortgage loan originator, Courtney has acquired a deep understanding of the industry's intricacies. Passionate about delivering seamless transactions and upholding transparency throughout the mortgage process for both her clients and her realtor partners, Courtney brings a wealth of experience and commitment to her new role at Coastal as a senior loan officer.



Courtney resides in Carroll County, Maryland, with her husband, their four children, three dogs, and two pigs. When Courtney isn’t being the mortgage rock star that she is, you will find her somewhere with her family and likely traveling all over.
